I am so thankful to my mother for teaching me at a young age about looking after my skin. She religiously taught me the skincare basic's from puberty- Cleans & moisturise every day and scrub once a week. Now in my early 30s I am blessed to not be faced with wrinkles and dry skin. From asking many of my clients I have realised that basic skincare routine is a learned act, If mothers are not into looking after their skin, it's not then taught to their daughters.

Dont forgot to invest in a rich creamy eye cream!! this is important to prevent anti-aging.

Every 28 days our skin grows new skin, if we don't remove the dead skin cells then the new skin will grow on top of the old skin causing blocked pores and over stimulating oil glands. This effects the way makeup will respond on your skin.
Not all products are good for your skin!! What you put on your skin will enter into your blood stream and effect your hormones:
Stay clear of Sulfates, Alcohol, Parabens (cancer causing - especially increasing effects of breast cancer), Manufactured Fragrances, Synthetic colours, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS & SLES), Formaldehyde (FRP,IARC) Toluene, Propylene glycol and lanolin. Stay clear of scrubs brought from the supermarket with a bursting bubble effect on your skin, this is actually plastic bubbles!
